    Sick of the serene hours
decides to swallow life in a breath of air
    It sparkles renewed and vigilant
It's not her verse that is frozen
    in her throat
For every empty attempt to secrete it
    he raises his voice
It bears his name on all the posters
    of the city
    aching lily in her throat
No one peeked into her manacled eyes or the little pools of water that rushed
    down her cheeks
Now from the tanned skin and ruinous threads
    on his temple
    Tolerates all kinds of ostracism
He curses with the same ferocity that he loved
    The universe is amorphous, futile
Remains in the light is given to words
Closing itself to the world until it becomes invisible.
