Going to heaven, is it a destiny? (Part 5 of 6)

    Chronicles 28:9, 1 King 9:4-5, 1 King 11:4, 1 Corithians 9:27

    Good day, brethren.

It was once my pleasure to take part in this outreach laid out by Brother Eli Soriano, who talked basically about the captions that say "Going to heaven is it a destiny." Hence, in regards to this topic, which is the fourth on this teaching, I will go straight to lay my own emphasis as to how much I have learned from the word of God.

Hence, on that note his first review of the book of Chronicles 28:9, where he went on to acknowledge the fact over Solomon's commitment, which was laid upon him to accomplish despite his father's willingness to build the temple, but God says no, is left for his son Solomon to do that.

The narration is trying to acknowledge the fact that God is no respecter of anyone, in spite of your position and achievements; he remains the sovereign God who made man. That's to say, in spite of your good deeds and uprightness in all ramifications without not obeying the word of God, one can still not inherit the kingdom of God or the blessings that come from God.

That is the reason we humans have to work in accordance with the scripture, which patterns the doctrine of Christ, which was just left for us to practice here on earth. The reason for all this is our own redemption, which shows how willing God is to save our soul by sending his only begotten son on earth just to die for our sake.

In everything we are doing, there is a need to be obedient and align with the word, as the book of 1 King 9:4-5 lets us understand that we are main to take part in the reward and promises he made to Solomon as well; hence, by being committed to the word, we shall reign as it happened in the life of King Solomon.

So brethren, you can now see the reason we ought to be in faith, the like of Solomon and our father of faith, Abraham. All this shows how dedicated they were to serving God with their full mind and while retaining their faith alive, as they went on to do well to spread the word of God, which will help qualify us for the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 9:27 talks about self-discipline and self-control, which ought to be the drives that keep us moving in accordance with what God expect from us. Hence, in this verse of the scripture, Apostle Paul made it clear to us that there is a need for all this to be for our own good.

Taking a good look at those that failed in this process is all just because they lack self-discipline and self-control, which have denied them the kingdom of good and long side with the reward that is attached to it, which is the inheritance we ought to get in heaven.

So therefore, let us understand that going to heaven is always our choice to make, which is good, and let anyone deceive you from not being part of this reward that God has promised his people. Just to remain faith and do what the Bible wants from us, we are required to be part of those that rejoice at last.
