Taking pictures of Simon Bolivar's monument in the square [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, dear friends of the community, how are you today? I, for my part, had a good day resting a little for the week, a little tired I had, and just one day of that week I attended a talk about cinema with a friend. After the talk was over, we went to a square to rest a bit and also to have lunch. We were chatting for a long time and at a certain point it occurred to me to take some pictures of a statue that was in front of us. I tried to take different angles to show its different details and these are the pictures I want to share with you today.

Saludos, queridos amigos de la comunidad, ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Yo, por mi parte, tuve un buen día descansando un poco por la semana, un poco cansada que tuve, y justo un día de esa semana asistí a un conversatorio sobre cine junto a una amiga. Luego de terminado el conversatorio, nos dirigimos a una plaza para descansar un poco y también comer. Estuvimos charlando un largo rato y en dado punto se me ocurrió hacer algunas fotografías a una estatua que estaba frente a nosotros. Intenté tomar distintos ángulos para mostrar sus diferentes detalles y son las fotos que quiero compartirles hoy.

A curious fact is that this square is in front of another square, they are next to each other and what they like to do here where I live is to build squares, certainly they are necessary for people to take a break, but it seems to me that it is also a bit excessive the amount of squares they want to make, but the important thing I also wanted to mention is that you will always or mostly find a statue of Simon Bolivar as you see in the pictures and is one of the most important references in Venezuelan culture.

Un dato curioso es que, esta plaza se encuentra frente a otra plaza, están una al lado de la otra y es que lo que más les gusta hacer aquí donde vivo es construir plazas, ciertamente son necesarias para que las personas se tomen un descanso, pero me parece que también es un poco excesivo la cantidad de plazas que desean realizar, pero lo importante que también quería mencionar es que siempre o en su mayoría encontraran una estatua de Simón Bolívar como la que ven en las fotografías y es que es una de las máximas referencias en la cultura venezolana.

What I liked most about taking these photographs, as I mentioned at the beginning, are the details and the different perspectives to better appreciate the statue, not always this is in a position so that people can get so close, but this one is, so I took advantage enough so that no favorable angle escaped, although I admit that I missed a picture from the back, but honestly it did not look as interesting as these others seeing the statue from the front or side, although perhaps I will take other pictures to check it.

Lo que más me gustó de realizar estas fotografías, como bien lo mencionaba al principio, son los detalles y las diferentes perspectivas para apreciar mejor la estatua, no siempre esta se encuentra en una posición para que las personas puedan acercarse tanto, pero esta sí, por lo que aproveché lo suficiente para que no se escapara ningún ángulo favorable, aunque reconozco que me faltó una fotografía desde la parte trasera, pero honestamente no se veía tan interesantes como estas otras viendo la estatua de frente o de costado, aunque quizás haga otras fotografías para comprobarlo.

I also took pictures of some small lighthouses that illuminate the square at night, they caught my attention because of their shape, although clearly, since it was daytime it was not possible to capture the light they radiate. También realicé fotografías a unos pequeños faros que iluminan la plaza de noche, llamaron mi atención por su forma, aunque claramente, al ser de día no se podía captar la luz que irradian.
