But this weekend, I went to my village. I keep posting some posts about my farm and village. Friends, the winter season in the village is about to end. Sorghum and gram have been harvested. Wheat has yet to be harvested. And it will have to be done in a few days. The cold is very important for wheat. Now the cold will end, and so will the wheat harvest. Friends, harvesting is done in a few hours.

Nowadays, machines do all the work instantly. Friends, I was standing in the field watching, and then I remembered the old days when harvesting was not done in such a few hours. This took several days. I remember, at that time there were not so many laborers available for everyone's fields, so all the farmers used to harvest together in one field, and after that, everyone used to go together to the other farmer's house. This was a good way to harvest in the field. All he had to do was give food to everyone.

This helped everyone do their own work, and there was no need to pay money to the laborers. The work was done only to cover the expenses of the feast. And it was good for everyone. I remember when so many farmers used to work together in the same field, the work that would have taken fifteen days was done in six days. And so many people used to work with great fun. And yes! We also have harvesting songs, which all the farmers used to sing while working. Friends, all this looked very beautiful.

And this work started early in the morning. Due to the clean, fresh environment and positive atmosphere, no one ever felt lazy. One did not even realize that the work was never finished by singing songs with enthusiasm. Friends, a memory from my childhood came to mind, during the harvest time, my father found two baby rabbits in the middle of the wheat field and brought them home. Our brothers and sisters were very happy. We brought up those baby rabbits; where could we concentrate? We had a lot of fun playing with them and feeding them green fodder. Those days were different. Friends, at that time, wheat, sorghum, and millet were grown in large quantities in our country.

Friends, I feel very sad because nowadays people are growing fewer crops like wheat, sorghum, etc. People want fruit crops that give them quick money. So that one can get money by unloading the fruits and selling them directly in the market. Fruits are also important, but grain crops are needed by all the rich and poor. And the excessive use of chemicals these days is having adverse consequences for our lives.

Which makes me very sad. Excessive use of medicines has a bad effect on our health. I use more natural fertilizers on my farm. We also have many goats, cows, and buffaloes here, and the manure obtained from them is very good for the fields. Friends, earlier there were no fertilizers containing so many chemicals, only the fertilizers obtained from animals were available. And perhaps at that time, people had fewer diseases. What to do? People do such things for more harvest. But nowadays, people have understood this. People have gradually started doing natural farming. Maybe this will be good for everyone.
