Lately, I've been busy outside the house to take care of some documents about my family. So, I'm rarely at home. That's why I spend more time outside the house. Also to relax a little and breathe a sigh of relief.
Like today, I decided to stop by alone at a cafe on the edge of the rice field. I wanted to rest my body and mind for a while before I went home.
The sky was beautiful. Indeed, I had missed the sunset session here. But the sky after sunset still displayed a beautiful beauty to behold.
You can see from my seating area, in the distance there are rice fields that are yellowish green. This is because the grains of rice have started to appear from the rice plants. So that it creates a yellowish color on the rice in the rice fields.
My Matcha Latte order arrived. A cup of bitter drink, but not sweet because it is made from green tea powder. Not sweet, but rich in antioxidants.
Maybe for those of you who are not used to matcha latte, the taste of this drink will be strange. It feels like a strange powder. But once you get used to it, it doesn't matter. Add a little sweetener if you are not used to it.
I sipped Matcha Lattee while looking at the rice fields. Soon it would be completely dark by night.
I like the time when I have me time, and allow my mind to rest for a while from whatever it is.
Meanwhile, if I am with my husband or with my friends, we usually tend to chat for a long time. And that makes me not have enough time to feel relaxed.
It is very important for us to apply resting the mind such as sitting on the edge of a green natural area that makes us feel calm. You also don't need to leave the house if you already have a garden and a fish pond in your home area to help you relax more.
To accompany my relaxing time, I also ordered my favorite traditional snack, fried cassava.
I really like fried cassava without any additional flour and this time using hot sauce as a serving.
The texture of the fried cassava on the outer layer is still crispy. Meanwhile, the inside is soft. Oh, a snack full of love with a delicious taste. Even though it is only made in a traditional way. Making it in a traditional way will minimize over-processed food compared to more modern and viral foods that are more processed.
Have you ever tried fried cassava at home? If you find cassava in a traditional market, then you can make fried cassava. But you have to boil the cassava first so that the texture of the inside of the cassava becomes softer later.
If you don't have a supply of cassava, you can also replace cassava with sweet potato for a snack that is also delicious to accompany tea or coffee time!
