OMG, I can’t believe it...BuzzParty 2025 is happening in Graz! That’s my town! I’m buzzing (pun intended) with excitement because, seriously, how cool is it to have such an awesome event right where you live? After seeing how amazing HiveFest was, I already know this is going to be one of the best things ever. Meeting people who support this incredible community, learning more about Hive, making new friends, and just having a blast—what more could I ask for?
Quick note to future me: Take care of your voice before the event, because you KNOW you’ll be talking nonstop! Last time in Split, I met so many fascinating people, and I’m dying to see who’s coming this time. Hive is huge, and there are so many members I haven’t connected with yet. Will it happen in Graz? Please let it happen!
So, here’s a funny story. Yesterday, I found out there were only 9 tickets left, and panic mode activated. Picture me yelling at my husband: “Go buy them! NOW! We can’t miss this!” We’re those last-minute people, you know? Nothing new. The second someone says, “Hurry, there’s not much time,” that’s when we sprint into action like our lives depend on it. No way we’re missing this, boys and girls...no way!
We got our tickets (phew!), and as of now, only 7 are left. If you’re still thinking about it, stop thinking and gooooo get yours! Especially if you’re in the near, don’t miss out. This is your chance to learn, connect, share, and grow with the Hive community. Plus, I’ve got a lot to learn myself, so I’m diving in headfirst this year. Writing is great, but I’m finally ready to tackle all those behind-the-scenes Hive stats and functions my husband usually handles. It’s time to level up, baby! 💪
Countdown to May ⏳
Tickets—check. Vacation planned—check. Now we wait. May feels far away, but trust me, it’ll be here in no time. And here’s the best part: I’ve lived near Graz for almost 11 years, but I STILL don’t know the whole city. (Forgive me...it’s the second biggest city in Austria, okay?) Sure, I’ve seen the big attractions, but I’m still driving around with GPS like a tourist. ( sometimes, not always, ok?)😂
So, I’m extra excited to explore Graz with all of you! I’ll show you where to grab some Manner waffeln (because who doesn’t love those?), and don’t even get me started on the food. Seriously, get ready for apfelstrudel heaven! Oh, and the beer tasting at Puntigamer? Never thought I’d do that, but YES, please! And we need to see Schlossberg! Spoiler alert: I’m taking the lift. No stairs for me, folks...I’ve done that once or twice, and that’s enough. 😊
By the way, anyone up for some poker? @lizanomadsoul and I are ready to crush it! You’ve got a few months to practice accepting defeat because we’re bringing the poker set, and we’re taking you down! 😉 Just kidding… maybe. 🤔
