Good evening mommies and daddies, it is a pleasure to greet you again and I hope you are enjoying this long weekend.
It's already carnival and the girls know it, although initially we were going to go to the beach, our plans changed course so I had to look for activities to do near our house and so we could live the joy that is characteristic in this time of celebration.
So I thought of taking them to a new park that just opened in the city and believe me it was the best plan, but first we looked for the costumes that each of them would wear because carnival without costumes is not carnival, Alys chose to dress up as wonder woman, she loves this costume and wants to wear it every day, on the other hand Abby dressed up as a colorful witch although she didn't like the idea of wearing a witch hat on her head, my girls looked so beautiful with their outfits that I couldn't stop looking at them.
We arrived and immediately the girls went to play in the park and even though it was very sunny and a little hot they didn't stop running and enjoying jumping off the slide, they were very happy while having fun in the company of other little ones.
Then we walked around the place for a while looking for a tree so the girls could cool off for a while so while they were enjoying the shade with their grandparents I went out to look for cotton candy or cotufas they wanted to eat, but as I did not find any I decided to buy them a bati-bati ice cream because there was no chocolate which is the favorite of both, we were there for a while while while they tasted their refreshing and sweet dessert.
They wanted to continue playing so after resting we went to another park since the site has several areas for the kids to enjoy and entertain themselves, in this one we spent a little more time playing while they were climbing up the stairs in the case of Abby or climbing like Alys but both went down some of their slides, although I must admit that they were quite happy but I felt a little tension because of the kids who are bigger than them and sometimes want to run over them, but fortunately everything could flow in a good way and they had a nice experience without any mishap.
Finally we found a wheel to give them laps they shared with other children who joined them and although we gave them several rounds they didn't seem to be dizzy from so much movement and instead they screamed, laughed living their moment of fun and asked for more laps because they didn't want to get off the wheel.
It was time to go home and although none of them wanted to leave, I know that deep down they know that there will be more days of adventure, joy, fun with or without costumes, they spent so much energy yesterday afternoon that they came to dinner and fell asleep once they touched the pillows of the bed.
It was a wonderful evening, they were very happy and so was I to see them so cheerful.

Buenas noches mamis y papis, es un placer saludarles nuevamente y deseo se encuentren disfrutando de este fin de semana largo.
Ya es carnaval y las niñas lo saben, aunque inicialmente íbamos a ir a la playa, nuestros planes cambiaron de rumbo así que tuve que buscar actividades que hacer cerca de nuestra casa y así poder vivir la alegría que es característica en esta época de celebración.
Así que se me ocurrió llevarlas a un nuevo parque que recién abrieron en la ciudad y créanme que fue el mejor plan, pero antes buscamos los disfraces que llevarían puestos cada una porque carnaval sin disfraces no es carnaval, Alys eligió vestirse de la mujer maravilla ama este disfraz y quiere ponérselo todos los días, por otra parte Abby se disfrazó de brujita colorida aunque no le agradaba mucho la idea de llevar un sombrero de bruja puesto en la cabeza, se veían tan hermosas mis niñas con sus atuendos que no podía dejar de verles.
Llegamos e inmediatamente las niñas fueron a jugar en el parque y aunque había mucho sol y un poco de calor ellas ni dejaban de correr y disfrutar de lanzarse del tobogán, estaban muy alegres mientras se divertían en compañía de otros pequeños.
Luego recorrimos un rato el lugar en busca de un árbol para que las niñas pudiesen refrescarse un rato así que mientras estaban disfrutando de la sombra con sus abuelos salí a buscarles un algodón de azúcar o cotufas que querían comer, pero como no encontré decidí comprarles un helado de bati-bati porque no había de chocolate que es el favorito de ambas, estuvimos un rato allí mientras degustaban de su refrescante y dulce postre.
Querían seguir jugando así que después de descansar nos acercamos a otro parque ya que el sitio dispone de varias áreas para que los niños disfruten y se entretengan, en este estuvimos un poco más de tiempo jugando mientras subían por las escaleras en el caso de Abby o escalar como Alys pero ambas bajaban por algunos de sus toboganes, aunque debo admitir que ellas estaban bastantes felices pero yo sentía un poco de tensión por los niños que son más grandes que ellas y aveces quieren pasarles por encima, pero afortunadamente todo pudo fluir de buena manera y ellas tuvieron una bonita experiencia sin ningún percance.
Finalmente encontramos una rueda para darles vueltas ellas compartieron con otros niños que se le unieron y aunque le dimos varias rondas no parecían estar mareadas por tanto movimiento y en cambio gritaban, se reían viviendo su momento de diversión y pedían más vueltas porque no querían bajarse de la rueda.
Llegó el momento de marcharnos a casa y aunque ninguna quería irse, se que en el fondo saben que habrán más días de aventura, alegría, diversión con o sin disfraces, gastaron tanta energía ayer en la tarde que llegaron a cenar y de una vez se quedaron dormidas una vez que tocaron las almohadas de la cama.
Fue una maravillosa tarde, ellas se sentían muy felices y yo también al verlas tan alegres.
