2025?
Wow, where did the year go? We're buzzing right into 2025 already! Happy New Year, one and all! After a few days sloth'in, I wasn't sure I would have time to write this post. Moving from the couch felt like too much effort, but 'New Year, New Me!'? The age-old saying, admitting defeat of those New Year Resolutions before the day is out! Alas, it's good to have goals, even if the sloth catches us up more oft than we'd like!
This is a Power up post though, so let's buzz the sloth out of here and feel the powa!
Hive Power Up Day!
Let's do an end-of-year round-up and set a new challenge for the coming year!
We end the year with 7605 HP. That's 1300 HP over the year, keeping us buzzing towards the 10,000 HP goal we currently have set. Although we didn't hit it this year, we've put ourselves on the right foot to keep building towards it over the coming year.
Let's start the year with the traditional power-up on the first of the month! Only 45 HP power up this month, but we continue to create content, curate your excellent content and grow sloth and steady all over Hive.
HiveBuzz and Goals!
HiveBuzz rankings are a great way to compare ourselves to the overall Hive. Currently, with 7650 HP, we're ranked 1700th of all Hive HP holders! The top 2000 is awesome; only 200 more positions until we crack the top 1500 HP holders! Each and every HP rank is harder to come by these days. To hit the top 1500 per our hive goal, we'd need about 9000HP total. So we've got some powering yet to do!

Sloth Author rewards
Our "All Time" author rewards are now showing as 1309 HP! A jump of 94 HP from the last power-up post's 1,215 HP!! Curation rewards are 534, an increase of about 29 HP from the previous power-up post, creeping up sloth and steady!
Our average author earnings slightly increased to 2.89 HP per post, and there is plenty of room for improvement! Sloth and steady wins the race!

The Sloth power chart continues steadily increasing; I love seeing the upward trend. Let's keep that level on the rise as we move into a new year and continue to make a sloth.buzz! A couple of hive a day keeps the Doctor away as the old saying goes!
