Frogs on my Bike!

I never hated toads and frog but I just don't like to be near them nor touch them. Would you dare?

A few nights ago, I saw these two frogs resting on my bike. The same bike I used to go to work when it was still on the peak of the pandemic but it broke; the clutch is not working anymore and my husband just hung it on so the heat of the sun won't damage the materials. The tires also grew thin from months of using them and I could not insist of buying new ones because my husband fears about me driving along the highway since the normal traffic flow had came back and it feels very dangerous for a small vehicle like me to pass by.

Perhaps these frogs were waiting for the night to go silent so they could do their mating thing.

The thing is that the male frogs finds a body of water and they croak calling the the females in and eventually breed and reproduce. A foot from where my bike was hung is one of our fish ponds, a freezer that was turned to fishpond containing variety of fishes; guppies, low grade, sword tail fish, balloon fish, and mickey.

Here are some more of the photos I took; I was very careful of doing the small photo session, afraid that one of them might jump in my hand and get me startled. Fortunately, I was able to catch a few photos without them getting to my hand.

That night, I was deep asleep and failed to hear them but I guess no females came as the pond were not filled with their eggs.

I even got the frog's shadow too!
