steevc just finished a 5.38km run, that lasted for 34 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 394.0 calories.

    Description from Strava:
There was another music session at the White Horse last night. There were only six of us, but it was fun. As usual I did not drink much, but it can make it harder to get going in the morning. There is an open mic at the True Briton tonight that I may go to.

It was cool out again, but dry. I was wanting to do another intervals session, so headed to the 'hill'. I did five 'sprints' up there that were hard work. I will try to keep this up and it may improve.

I did not see a lot of people out there today. I think I saw at least one runner. I was listening to The Rest Is Politics. They were discussing the various conflicts and confrontations around the world. Leaders need to get a grip and try to make peace rather than starting fights.

I have mentioned that Arlesey gained two Turkish barbers recently. I think they have realised that is not viable, so it looks like one is changing to a cafe. I have seen lots of changes here over the years. That place used to be a betting shop, but that closed down. The other one was a different barber before and years ago it was a butcher's shop. The little kebab place was also a barber's at one time and then an Indian takeaway. There are only so many people wanting their hair cut, so that business has limits. I go to Cockney Rebel in Stotfold for mine.

I plan to run at parkrun on Saturday. They were asking for volunteers, but it looks like the roster is just about complete.
