Governance on Hive -- who you vote for witness, and every Hive account has 30 votes attached -- is important. @pharesim wanted to know how the community would respond if he (or she -- please correct me if I am wrong) publicly put forth supporting a lower interest rate for HBD than 20 percent. The community responded and @pharesim responded as well. Governance is important -- understand how voting for witnesses works and DO IT if you want a say in your earnings and how your earnings earn more. Pay special attention to the top twenty witnesses, for their consensus decision determines the interest rates of Hive Power and HBD.

Like Hive, Bitcoin's community had a traumatic split, back in 2017, and the struggle for who gets the credit and who gets control has reached the court level. @der-prophet brings this intriguing and to me, somewhat sad news and commentary on human nature in the face of massive opportunity -- but as he says, you get to choose which prophet you are going to believe.
