SUEÑO Y ABISMO

La cúspide me llevó
y me dejé llevar
como un sordo y ciego
sin detenerme a pensar
me dejé arrastrar por la sensación
de querer saber lo que no sé.

Apunto estuve de caer
al abismo de la trampa
de una soledad hueca
que no es más que un vacío
que espera por llenarse
de los miedos escondidos
de quienes no tienen caminos
sin pies para andar
solo se dejan llevar.

Una sonrisa floreció de pronto
y todo vestigio de miedo
desapareció y se fue al vacío
y se hundió entre la niebla
perdiéndose en la nada
quedándome yo con mi soledad.

Voltee mi frente viendo llegar
largos brazos y bocanadas
de un remolino furioso
que asechaba mi retirada
de aquél abismo ciego de sí mismo
me empujó sin titubear
y desperté.

DREAM AND ABYSS

The summit took me,
and I let myself be carried away
like a deaf and blind person
without stopping to think.
I let myself be dragged by the sensation
of wanting to know what I don't know.

I was on the verge of falling
into the abyss of the trap
of a hollow solitude
which is nothing more than a void
waiting to be filled
with the hidden fears
of those who have no paths
without feet to walk
they just let themselves be carried away.

A smile suddenly blossomed,
and every trace of fear
disappeared and went into the void
and sank into the fog
losing itself in nothingness
leaving me with my solitude.

I turned my head, seeing
long arms and gusts of wind
from a furious whirlpool
that stalked my retreat.
It pushed me out of that blind abyss of itself
without hesitation,
and I woke up.
