I decided to talk about this because I have been able to notice that many people believe they are superiors or they judge; The typical behavior of those who seek recognition for the simple fact of having preferences different from those of the majority. So, I wanted to talk a bit about what I think about this.

Starting from that, being interesting or not, is not something that depends on ourselves, each individual has their own tastes and ideas, which may seem somewhat captivating to me, but for someone else it may be the most bland thing in the world.

If we discredit something based on principles or well-founded reasons, and preferably impartial and through that, we do not seek the acceptance of anyone, the interest generated by our position will depend on who interprets it.

However, if we do it to pretend that we have a criterion that, ironically, consists of not having it, although we may seem interesting in the eyes of our presumed similar, we will be reflecting an absence of personality and probably, self-esteem.

In conclusion, the decision not to go with the flow is not interesting as such. What may or may not be interesting is the reason why this current is followed, or not.
