It’s been months since I purchased a card from the open market but here I am now adding to my collection. I added a older reward card Torhilo the Frozen as it’s a great neutralizer with magic attacks.
It’s a max level card so I will likely put him into good use for many battles to come. I like Baajaka most of the time as tanker against magic but due to its lack of attack I can now have the option of Torhilo.
There are also rule sets I can implement Torhilo over other tankers such as odds only cards and when no legendary cards are allowed.
It’s last stance leaves it up to an interesting combo. If in instances where I can put him in the middle or rear of formation and still attack it can potentially be the last card in battle making last stance a useful ability.
Another card I am eyeing to add is Kelp Initiate. Low mana count but decent life it’s a good tanker in low mana matches and good defending against magic attack. It’s abilities of cleanse and tirade makes it great for middle or rear formation too.
In all honesty there are a lot of older cards at low prices in years. This is a potential opportunity to reinforce my setups. As water with magic attack is my favorite I am leaning more towards water cards.
In addition as I move a lot of my legacy cards into land I will have another reason to continue adding cards to my collection
as I need more options come setting up formations.
