I wish you a great day, dear hives. Today I would like to tell you how my day went, which although simple, was full of those little moments that make it all worthwhile. Sometimes days don't need to be extraordinary to leave us with a sense of satisfaction.
I only had one work destination on my route today, which was to go to Sigo CPA. My goal was to deliver an invoice and do the metering to check how the water in the processing center is doing. It was not a complicated task nor did it take too much time, but I always like to do my job with care so that everything comes out perfect.
I left home, not too early, as I knew this would be my only place to visit today. One perk I always enjoy about living here is the beautiful weather on the island. It is something that has me completely in love. Every day, the landscapes look radiant and beautiful, and I feel that energy in the air. Although, I'm not going to lie, the heat can be a bit overwhelming at times. However, I've gotten used to it because it's part of the daily routine. Some days the heat is more intense than others, but the beauty of this place makes up for any discomfort.
Les deseo un día genial, queridos hives. Hoy me gustaría contarles cómo fue mi día, que aunque sencillo, estuvo lleno de esos pequeños momentos que hacen que todo valga la pena. A veces los días no necesitan ser extraordinarios para dejarnos una sensación de satisfacción.
En mi recorrido de hoy solo tuve un destino de trabajo, el cual fue ir a Sigo CPA. Mi objetivo era entregar una factura y hacer la medición para verificar cómo está el agua del centro de elaboración. No fue una tarea complicada ni tomó demasiado tiempo, pero siempre me gusta hacer mi trabajo con esmero para que todo salga perfecto.
Salí de casa, no demasiado temprano, ya que sabía que este sería mi único lugar para visitar hoy. Una ventaja que siempre disfruto de vivir aquí es el hermoso clima de la Isla. Es algo que me tiene completamente enamorada. Cada día, los paisajes se ven radiantes y hermosos, y esa energía la siento en el aire. Aunque, no les voy a mentir, el calor puede ser un poco abrumador en ocasiones. Sin embargo, ya me he acostumbrado a él porque es parte de la rutina diaria. Algunos días el calor es más intenso que otros, pero la belleza de este lugar compensa cualquier incomodidad.
When I arrived at my destination, I carried out my work satisfactorily. Since my husband was waiting for me outside, I didn't feel any rush, which made me feel more relaxed.
Al llegar a mi destino, llevé a cabo mi trabajo satisfactoriamente. Como mi esposo me estaba esperando afuera, no sentí ningún tipo de apuro, lo cual hizo que me sintiera más relajada.
After leaving Sigo, we decided to go to the farm together. We had to buy food for the chickens and quails we have at home. They give us their eggs every day, which are an important part of our food. In fact, I have yet to show you how the hens are doing, as it is something I am enjoying very much and I want to share it with you in a future publication. You will see how beautiful they are!
Después de salir de Sigo, decidimos ir juntos a la agropecuaria. Teníamos que comprar la comida para las gallinas y codornices que tenemos en casa. Ellas nos regalan sus huevos cada día, los cuales son una parte importante de nuestra alimentación. De hecho, tengo pendiente mostrarles cómo van las crías, ya que es algo que estoy disfrutando mucho y quiero compartirlo con ustedes en una publicación futura. ¡Ya verán qué bonitas están!
While we were at the farm, we received a call from our son. He was stranded at the Sambil mall, so we headed over there to pick him up. Although it was a slight change of plans, it didn't bother us at all. It's part of life to take care of those we love.
As we arrived at the mall, I came up with an idea that I thought was great. Since we were done with all the errands for the day and had nothing pending, we could enjoy a barge. Those little relaxed family moments always fill me with joy, and a delicious barquilla in the company of my husband and son would be perfect to end the day.
We walked around the mall for a while, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. Despite the heat these days on the island, that barquilla had a special flavor because we shared it together, and those moments are what really make the difference. The combination of the refreshing ice cream and the presence of my two loves, made everything feel even more special.
Mientras estábamos en la agropecuaria, recibimos una llamada de nuestro hijo. Estaba varado en el centro comercial Sambil, así que nos dirigimos hacia allá para buscarlo. Aunque fue un pequeño cambio de planes, no nos molestó en absoluto. Es parte de la vida atender a quienes amamos.
Al llegar al centro comercial, se me ocurrió una idea que me pareció genial. Como ya habíamos terminado con todas las diligencias del día y no teníamos nada pendiente, podíamos disfrutar de una barquilla. Esos pequeños momentos relajados en familia siempre me llenan de alegría, y una barquilla deliciosa en compañía de mi esposo y mi hijo sería perfecta para cerrar el día.
Caminamos un rato por el centro comercial, disfrutando del ambiente agradable. A pesar del calor que se siente estos días en la Isla, esa barquilla tenía un sabor especial porque la compartimos juntos, y esos momentos son los que realmente hacen la diferencia. La combinación del helado refrescante y la presencia de mis dos amores, hizo que todo se sintiera aún más especial.
As we left the mall, the day was beginning to turn into a lovely afternoon. The views were absolutely great. I couldn't resist and took some pictures to show you. I love being able to share with you little bits of my day through these images.
So, dear friends, this was my day. Simple. For me it's great to enjoy the beauty of the Island, the company of my family and those little things that make every day special for me.
