Hii Hive Runners, how was training this week? I hope your training went well.
Heading to Banten 5K Run, last week I went back to my moms house, remember in my last post that my house is close to the beach? So my sister and I started training from home to our final destination which is the beach. Yippy
Since joining the running world, I've always been excited and energized every time I go home, I can run all the way to the beach, even though we have to be careful with the drivers.
This was the first time me and my sister to run together. Since she was also going to participate in the Banten 5K Run, I asked her to train even harder, so that she could finish before the Cut Off Time. I wanted her to get her first medal. I also wanted her to feel the excitement and happiness at the finish line.
This time, I ran slowly, because I had to wait for my sister, even though my pace was slow. Started with a pace of 9.30. That's right, my pace is slow, right? Please forgive me. With a total moving time of 38:26, my sister and I finished running 4km. And an average pace of 9:35/km.
But, from the distance we finished to the beach there was still another 1kilo meter. We stopped at a market, met our moms and took a break to eat porridge.
After finishing breakfast together, my sister and I parted ways with our mom, and we continued our way to the beach. Since it was early in the morning, the beach was still quiet, so I was able to run along the shore. Psstt, I actually almost sprained my ankle while making this running video on the beach haha.
And next week, I will back again and running together with my sister.
