Once here was a small and seemingly ordinary town, where everything were the deferent, there were even flowers that blossomed at night and clocks that ticked backwards and in this town lived a man by the name of Elroy. He was perfectly happy in his strange lifestyle, rising at noon and taking his pet owl a mouse at twilight. People around Elroy grew used to his peculiarities and that is why they did not pay any attention to it. One day, Elroy opens a door to a basement which leads to a completely normal world. Bewildered and curious he entered it; it suddenly dawned on him that it was abnormality that he was not so conventional. Having accepted his peculiarity, he went back happy and at ease with his rather capricious life.
