These classmates of mine were my ride-or-die during my Junior High School Days. We’ve been friends for four years straight. At first, we didn't get along that much perhaps because of our different backgrounds– I mean that’s where it started right? We have our first impressions like “ Ohh! I feel like she’s a brat, I don’t like to mingle with that type of a person” or it might be “ She has an expensive lifestyle and I can't relate to her” These impressions are what keeps us the distance to one another but if try to mingle and get to know the person, our first impression will surely change and it might turn into “ Ohh I thought you were a brat, turns out you are such a kind of person”. This ladies and gentlemen is what truly happens to us. But when days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and months into years, we learn and accept our differences.
We have so many unforgettable experiences be it inside of the campus or outside of the campus. We travel to different places, we do cutting classes just to watch the live of Miss Universe 2018 (I still couldn't believe we did this because it was our monthly examination). We have our small fights as classmates. Academic competition is really tough during those times.
Of course, who would forget bullies? I mean this is the part of schooling wherein bullies usually came out and I’ve gotta tell you, I was being bullied! I was bullied when I was in my 1st year but that stopped when I learned how to fight with them. Despite that, I am just glad that I didn’t experience a catfight. But I did surely experience being summoned to the Guidance Office because of cutting class (even now my parents don’t know that I did that horrible thing). Luckily, I was spared but believe me, I did the crying and begging just to be spared and it worked. (lol it should be because my acting was superb).
Nevertheless, these people make junior high exciting, memorable, and fun. This is where we get to experience awful things in life. We did nasty things and once in a while, we were quite immature during these days. I couldn't help but reminisce about the past.
