Good day beloved brothers and sisters. It's always a great opportunity to delve into the word of God. It is important that we appropriately grasp the word of God whenever we go through the scriptures. There is no doubt that our sole duty is to serve. However, it is important that we are fully aware of the being we are rendering our service to.
1 John 5:20 - We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true and we are in Him who is true by being in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
John wrote this letter to reassure believers of their salvation and to combat false teaching spreading within the church, particularly those denying Jesus as the Son of God..This verse highlights Jesus' mission of revealing the true nature of God. John emphasizes that believers are not merely followers of Christ. They are united with Him. Through this union, they have direct access to God and eternal life.
