Tourism ambassador selection is routinely held in various cities in Indonesia, including in Aceh Utara Regency, Aceh Province. Aceh Utara has a number of main tourist destinations, ranging from natural tourism, historical tourism, man-made tourism, to religious tourism.
As a region with seven main tourist destinations, Aceh Utara considers the existence of tourism ambassadors to be important. The participants of this tourism ambassador come from cities in Aceh Utara. They must undergo a strict selection with various requirements, ranging from height, insight into tourist destinations and culture, general knowledge, and public communication.
They followed all the selections strictly. I became one of the judges who tested prospective tourism ambassadors in Aceh Utara. However, this time I did not post the participants, but rather the committee members involved in the selection of tourism ambassadors.
The committee members who were seen were mostly former tourism ambassadors from previous years. They were the ones I photographed with a D-100 SLR camera. Because they were former tourism ambassadors or finalists from previous years, it was not difficult for them to pose in front of the camera.[]
