Two hours, one hundred and twenty minutes, however you want to say it.... But that's more or less the time it takes me for a morning walk through one of the four sectors into which I mentally divide the central part of my village... Sometimes my wife tells me: "Remember to bring bread when you come back" but almost always my addiction for taking pictures makes me forget to buy it. Other times I buy it almost at the end of my daily walk, but I start my way back giving pieces of bread to the dogs I meet on the streets... Fortunately my wife has learnt to live with these strange things I do and she just ends up smiling...

Dos horas, ciento veinte minutos, como quieran ustedes decirlo... Pero ese es más o menos el tiempo que me toma una caminata matutina a través de uno de los cuatro sectores en los que mentalmente tengo divido el casco central de mi pueblo... Algunas veces mi esposa me dice: "Recuerda traer pan cuando vuelvas" pero casi siempre mi adicción por hacer fotos hace que olvide comprarlo. Otras veces lo compro casi al final de mi caminata diaria, pero emprendo el camino de regreso dando trozos del pan a los perros que encuentro en las calles... Afortunadamente mi esposa ha aprendido a convivir con esas cosas extrañas que hago y simplemente termina sonriendo...

These photos shared by me today express a broader vision of what I see in my streets and how I see it. There is a lot of everydayness in this selection of photos and I wanted this to be so in order to build a publication based on a series of fresh images that are close to the pure basis of street photography for a place like this. You could say that, from this kind of street vision, is how more complex and intimate scenes like the ones you see in my other publications are generally constructed and end up happening.

Estas fotos compartidas por mi hoy expresan una visión más amplia de aquello que veo en mis calles y de como lo veo. Hay un montón de cotidianidad en esta selección de fotos y he querido que esto sea así para poder construir una publicación basada en una serie de imágenes frescas y cercanas a la base pura de la fotografía callejera para un lugar como este. Se puede decir que, a partir de este tipo de visión callejera, es como se construyen y terminan sucediendo escenas más complejas e intimas como las que se ven en mis otras publicaciones generalmente.

If you look at the titles I give to these photos, you will notice that they are basically "what I think about when I look at the image"... This, from the very moment of capturing the photo, creates a mental link between me and it. In these titles there is everyday life, sometimes a bit of jocularity and always a lot of memory related to the fact that I have always been linked to these streets.

Si tú observas los títulos que doy a estas fotos, podrás percatarte de que se tratan básicamente de "aquello que pienso al observar la imagen"... Esto, desde el mismo momento de capturar la foto, crea un lazo mental entre esta y yo. En estos títulos hay cotidianidad, a veces un poco de jocosidad y siempre mucha memoria relativa a estar yo desde siempre ligado a estas calles.

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
