Let's talk about Love today, and this Love is just not about the Love between couples. Love is everywhere and in every relationship, be it with people, animals, nature or with the Universe. Love has some most powerful and miraculous powers and has the ability to heal almost anything.
Today is Valentine's Day and across the globe everyone is celebrating this day with their loved ones in their special way. Love has no one day to celebrate, but yes, special days do highlight the importance of it.
In my childhood I was deprived of this feeling of Love from my parents. My Father did love me a lot but at the same time he was so short tempered that his expression of love was always over taken by his anger, and I could never feel that expression with ease. In my late teens I was madly in love with one person, and he did not reciprocate and there too I felt a lot of heartache. I started believing that Love was not meant for me in this Life.
Then came this very beautiful soul in my life, my hubby and the way he expressed his Love for me filled up all the emptiness of the past. His Love for me was pure and unconditional. It's 28 years of marriage and this Love only grows stronger with each day. He never fails to pamper me and express his feelings of Love for me.
Another beautiful soul came into my life, my Son and I gave all my heart to him. My hubby taught me to receive love and my son taught me to give love, both of which are very important. Love is not a one way journey, it is mutual. So when both of them have played their role in my life, I have also not failed to do mine. They made me believe in Love and feel loved. The made my life meaningful with their unconditional love. Their Love healed a lot of my childhood traumas, I started believing in people and Life. Both of them are God sent Angels to me, without them this life would have been totally meaningless and I am not sure if I would have ever experienced genuine Love without them. I am forever grateful to this life for bringing them to me.
Today morning hubby left for office early, after an hour of he leaving, there was a door bell and when I opened the door, I had this surprise for me. At this stage of life being pampered in such a manner makes me feel like we are still newly married couple.
I have not been at the best health since the last couple of days, but this did cheer me up. Tonight both of us plan to celebrate with a quiet dinner, just the two of us.
