Monomad: My First #Monomad Challenge- The Mighty Acacia

Hi everyone! I'm @mama-ayn and I am impressed on how pictures can have a deep impact even with only black and white colors.

I was just standing on the road, waiting for a jeepney to pass by when I found this community and instantly,I decided to join the #monomad challenge. I snapped a pic of this mighty tree that provides shades to everyone waiting for a ride.

This is where we wait for our jeepney/bus ride since the tree keeps us hidden from mr. Sun

There are also some big stones underneath it wherein we can sit and stay comfortable. Sometimes, you can see highschool students just passing time there during their break.

I am always amazed on Acacia trees. Maybe it's because of its beauty and it's ability to withstand time. Thic acacia has been here since I was a kid and whenever I pass by, I am always mesmerized by it.

Here in our country, it is believed that acacia trees are where ghosts or mythical creatures live. One example of this is the Tikbalang- a half human and a half horse That if you pluck out his golden hair, you can have a wish that will come true. another one is the White Lady - a lady dressed in bloody white dress. This is a ghost who causes accidents. but this acacia tree, I hear no rumors about it being haunted or whatnot. It just simply spread out its branches minding it's own business and providing shade for everyone who comes in need.
