Lessons learnt from todays session

    Hello everyone and welcome to my post.

    Its a new day and everyday comes with an opportunity to receive a new blessing.

    I am glad to have been blessed by the teachings today.
    As believers, everyday we try to upgrade our knowledge and be better people so that we can impact this knowledge into the next generation and win more souls to the Lord.

    Though not perfect, I am very much grateful to God for his mercy, guidance and provision.

    Today's session was very interesting and I learnt quite a lot from there.

    The lessons I learnt are as follows:

    In everything we do, the truth is first and we should always rejoice in it. We should never rejoice in iniquity, but we should uphold the truth in all circumstances. The Bible passage below talks on it:

    1 Corinthians 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

    We should never forsake thoe who are close to us, be it out friends or the friend of our father. A person who is near us is better than that who is far away because the ones near us can come to our aid swiftly unlike the ones far off.

    Proverbs 27:10 Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.

    We all should be of one mind. We should not pay evil with evil and be kind to one another. We should be our brothers keeper and make sure to aid in anyway possible.

    1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

    We should live peacefully with each other and stay away from vengeance. Any violence should not be heard from us but instead, we should try as much s possible to ensure that peace leads.

    Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

    In everything we should give thanks unto the Lord. When we are walking, before we eat, when we pray, in any situation we find ourselves, good or bad, we should always give thanks to the Lord.

    1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

    We should learn to give to the needy. No matter how it is, we should try and give to those in need of our help. Even those that comes to us to borrow something, we should not turn away from them.

    Matthew 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

    These are the few lessons I was opportune to learn today.
    Thank you ad may God bless you.
