5% Beneficiary Rule For Vibes (How To Know If Your Post Entry Is Correct)

in voilk •  3 months ago

This week’s judging has been filled with a lot of entries of both newcomers but especially veterans of the vibes contest, however a lot of people seem to be forgetting about the 5% beneficiary rule for their Vibes Entries. If you are wondering why your post has not been upvoted, it is because you have not followed this important rule which is very easy to follow.

    https://peakd.com/hive-140169/@jessicaossom/submit-vibes-entries-easily-using-peakdcom-only-5percent-beneficiary-is-done-automatically

Check this post on how to enter into the Vibes Contest using the Peakd.com platform and posting your entry within the Vibes community there.
When you do so, the 5% beneficiary rule is set automatically for you when you post Inside of the Vibes Community.

I will now show you screenshots of a random Vibes Participant which happened to be @mcmusic and he clearly has set the correct 5% beneficiary either Manually in advanced settings before he posted or he used our method through posting on Peakd.com where he didn’t have to set the 5% beneficiary manually, because it is done automatically for him when he posts into the Vibes community.

Please realise that the correct account for the 5% beneficiary is @hive-140169

I am currently writing this post inside the Peakd.com platform and when I typed that username inside this Post Text box the username pops up with the actual Vibes Graphic logo as seen above in this screenshot.

I have seen some other people putting the 5% beneficiary to the wrong account like @vibes

But this is not correct… they are providing money to an old account that was created a while ago that is Not tied to the contest whatsoever. Probably just someone who wanted to use the name Vibes because of goos vibes in a generic way and generally speaking of positive energy, but at the time that account was created, the vibes contest did not exist…

So whoever owns that account is probably slowly receiving little by little some money from all of you who continue to make this mistake.

The correct and ONLY account to use is: hive-140169

And if you set it correctly, your post should look like this…

On Peakd.com when you click on the post reward money amount

    IMG_5221.jpeg

    Or on Hive.blog
You can also see the correct beneficiary on the reward amount here

    IMG_5222.jpeg

But on the ecency.com frontend I was unable to click on the post reward amount and view any kind of beneficiary set. If one of you knows how to easily see it on ecency.com let me know because I couldn’t find it out, to conveniently show you an example of it here.

So since I couldn’t find it on ecency.com, I would recommend using Peakd.com because again, it sets it automatically for you and you will ensure that your post gets upvoted for your efforts and for a valid participation entry. I hope this helps to clear up any confusion and please spread the information around so everyone is aware and can help each other to figure it out.

Because the more the @hive-140169 account grows, the more opportunities and growth the Vibes contest and community can have and give back to the contest founders @lordbutterfly and @silentscreamer who created this wonderful competition for us all to connect in and benefit from and grow as musicians and performers.

    Thank you.
