One of the places I found with lots of veggies in my meal was Musi Vege + Cafe. I had my eyelashes done one afternoon but didn’t have any lunch beforehand so I stopped by this place, right at the station's entrance. The restaurant is known for its healthy meals and organic veggies with many options. I was craving lots of vegetables as I’ve noticed we haven’t had much during our stay in Japan so this is the perfect time for it.
There were lots of choices, not sure which one to choose since I was by myself. There was no English on the menu but it was not difficult to understand and we ordered via a QR code. All meals come with steamed veggies and you can add steamed pork on top for an extra 50 yen but I forgot to do that when ordering.
I ended up ordering the prawn set with lots of veggies, grain rice, vegetable tofu soup & veggie patty. Honestly, it didn’t look as great as the picture but the smell was really good. I was surprised by the variety of vegetables you get from the steamer and some of the veggies like radishes I won’t normally cook like that back home. It was a little bland but they do provide you with a nice dipping sauce. The rice I thought would be very hard but surprisingly it was soft and had a nice fragrant smell. The prawns were delicious, lots of them so I was pretty satisfied.
The seating was comfortable, service was prompt. They even had free wifi for customers which was great for those who needed to work or study. I’ve noticed a few people were there working so I think it’s a nice quiet/cosy place for that. Highly recommend this restaurant cafe, for such a good price for quality food.
