Greetings to everyone on Hive and welcome back to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
I have just read that Booker T has settled on not wrestling anymore. That’s a bit sad, but I suppose everyone will have to retire one day or another. Booker T has been involved in the sport for a while now and he’s had some pretty epic moments.
One thing that stands out about Booker T was his feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin. It was really hilarious when they brawled inside a supermarket. When they did it, I laughed so hard. It is an illustration of how entertaining Booker T could become even out of the ring.
Additionally, I loved it when he returned after a long time.
He participated in the Royal Rumble match and although he did not stay there for long, it was great seeing him back in the ring again. It’s cool that he got to live through it once more though.
With Booker T’s retirement, it is likely that his concentration will be shifted towards being a commentator. He has been at this for quite some time and he is quite good at it. I enjoy listening to him speak about wrestling matches.
He knows the game well, and his thoughts are insightful.
Booker T’s career has seen him win championships in tremendous numbers.
During that time, he became a World Heavyweight Champion, Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion among others.
That's a remarkable feat. Few wrestlers can boast having achieved as much as he did.
Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is also very important. Booker T got admitted twice: one as an individual and another was as part of Harlem Heat.
This means that he has achieved so much during his career. It’s something worth being proud of on his end.”
Though it makes me unhappy that Booker T is retiring from wrestling, I realize that at some point we all leave.
He has had a splendid career and will remain one of the greatest wrestlers ever. It’s a pity he won’t be stepping into the ring anymore, but thankfully he hasn’t left the world of wrestling completely.
Booker T's retirement message however is bitter sweet. The era is over but it’s the beginning of another chapter in his life too.
Whatever he chooses to do next, I wish him nothing but good luck.
