I think one of my special talents is in my ability to recognise a person I know with only their eyes. Yep, I said it.
Of course, I don't think I alone have this ability, I have observed a few people too, who are able to do this. I observe peoples eyes, albeit subconsciously.

When you look at a person's eyes, you see the truth. Sometimes a person smiles, even though their eyes don't and vise versa. If you don't look well enough, you won't notice this.

I think of the eye as the bodies window because it guides us even when actions and body languages try to conceal.

In medical practice, it is easy to identify a lot of illnesses or derangements by taking a look at the patients eyes. You can identify a patient who is pale, jaundiced or even dehydrated by mere looking at the eyes. You can tell a patient who is anxious, worried or fearful by looking them in the eye.

In everyday interactions, I do not ignore clues from a persons eye. The significance is always worthwhile, but I find it more useful in practice because a lot is hinged upon it.
Apart from being a window with which we can know what's going on inside, it's also a window for the owner to see what's going on outside and without it, there is a sense of overwhelming loneliness which one would feel.

The sense of sight is integral in the wellbeing of an individual, as such eye care is a necessity.
One would wonder, how do I take care of my eyes, I mean, the eyes are just there right?
Well, it's very possible to take good care of our sight, there are numerous ways and I will outline as much as I can

    1. Reduce screen light or screen time; the time spent on screen and the intensity of the light should be moderated.

    2. Avoid excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays; walking under the scorching sun and looking into it could be dangerous, use sunshades.

    3. Take red foods and vegetables eg carrots, red oil etc they are rich sources of vit A

    4. Go outdoors; do not stay indoors so long, go out, take a walk and see life. It's good for the eyes

    5. Reduce straining of the eyes; reading with poor lighting should be stopped.

    6. Reduce scratching of the eye, if you must use a clean cloth.

    7. Seek the right care when in doubt it when necessary

    8. Do not allow foreign objects in the eye; if they enter accidentally, put in the effort to get it out ASAP

    9. If you already have eye defects, see your doctor. Follow the instructions given, as much as possible.

By doing these, you increase the lifespan of your window with which you look at the world.

My affinity for the human eyes drove me to write this.
    See you soon.
