The new Legendary AirDrop card, Elias Max Pruitt is a Summoner that combines both the Life and Water Splinters. It is the last of the Legendary Summoner that will have 2 Splinters for the Rebellion set. As usual for this set, mana is set at 7. It has some interesting abilities that leverage the strength of these two Splinters as it provides one melee attack and one armor for all cards selected. It gets interesting with the tactics selection as you can go defensive with cleanse and fixing armor or get on offense with pierce and the new attack with the armor. Somewhat different is that you can only select one monster for either of these tactics which I think demonstrates the strength of the abilities to choose from.
My completed regular foil deck cannot get me enough for a maxed version guaranteed. I opted to use some of my Gold Foils to also stake instead of renting them in order to get to a maxed copy. I had some luck as I got a couple of extra BCX but Gold Foil version this time around. The last AirDrop will likely require me to go and buy some BCX as it gets harder to guarantee the drops. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how their value is perceived in the market given the inherent expected scarcity of Rebellion in general.
The Rebellion AirDrops are almost over now but continue to be of interest for the community. It may be a while to see the next one but incredible to see the value being built for all the players in the ecosystem. My Collection has continued to bloom despite the markets in the past months. I cannot avoid getting deeper into this and while I am already well past my budget of packs, I am sure there will continue to be reasons to add to the wagons for the chance for more AirDrops even as they slow.
