I struggled a bit to take photos of this mushroom because it was growing under and around banana trees with very little light.
This mushroom looks a bit creepy, with its red color and shape like an insect-eating plant. You can't hold it because of the many hard hairs, like needles, that protect the fungus. I found this mushroom growing on a dry palm frond with moist soil conditions.
