¿Salir yo a una fiesta de grandes multitudes? ¡Eso nunca! O al menos eso decía antes. Ahora he cambiado mucho mi percepción sobre las cosas, y me he dado la tarea de, con responsabilidad, salir a divertirme y hacer algo diferente. Creo que a mí yo del pasado no lo hubiera gustado nada de esto, pero, ¿no es la vida una caja de aventuras nuevas? Y sí, el renovarse contempla romper con viejos esquemas y darse algunos gustos. ¿Me creerían si les digo que fue la primera vez que bailé casi toda una tarde y noche? Pues sí, el viejo soldier de seguro me deteste. No es que sea yo un rebelde, ni intente serlo...
¡Para nada!
Solo quería hacer algo diferente por primera vez. Así que salí con mi hermano, mi prima y @gsusart que se nos terminó uniendo en un evento de carnaval llamado "Bandera Negra/octavita" que realizan en el poblado de Santa Bárbara, una región dentro del estado Monagas, Venezuela. Allí, bailé calipso y conocí a unas señoras que me invitaron a bailar (XD), pero sobre todo, disfruté junto a mi familia y amigos. Fue bastante agradable, incluso para una persona como yo que solo estaba acostumbrado a estar en casa.
Tampoco es que me voy a convertir en un fiestero, ¡claro que no! Me gusta hacer cosas diferentes, pero de vez en cuando... la parte del soldier responsable y enfocado, todavía sigue dominando el 90% de mi mente XD.

Me going out to a party with big crowds? Never! Or at least that's what I used to say. Now I've changed my perception of things a lot, and I've taken it upon myself to responsibly go out and have fun and do something different. I don't think the me of the past would have liked any of this, but isn't life a box of new adventures? And yes, to renew oneself means to break with old patterns and give yourself some treats. Would you believe me if I told you that it was the first time I danced for almost an entire afternoon and evening? Well, yes, the old soldier will surely hate me. It's not that I'm a rebel, nor try to be....
Not at all!
I just wanted to do something different for the first time. So I went out with my brother, my cousin and @gsusart who ended up joining us at a carnival event called “Bandera Negra/octavita” that they do in the town of Santa Barbara, a region within the state of Monagas, Venezuela. There, I danced calypso and met some ladies who invited me to dance (XD), but most of all, I enjoyed with my family and friends. It was quite nice, even for a person like me who was only used to being at home.
It's not like I'm going to become a party animal, of course not! I like to do different things, but once in a while... the responsible and focused soldier part still dominates 90% of my mind XD.
