Aloha! I really don't know why time is running faster than Flash. (Time should be calming down na, abi?)
Anyways, it's been a while since I shared my introductory post. I guess it's time to be serious with learning to earn. It's really not easy balancing a lot of activities; wisdom is sure needed.
I give kudos to those posting regularly. Take your trophyβyou deserve it! "Ko easy rara" (it's not easy at all). Show me the way naw (hehehe).
So, what have I been up to before the year 2024 ended? Let me gist you small:
Actually, I haven't been up to anything so special. Whew! Being a student can be so draining. I don't think I'll ever be a fan of early morning lectures. Going for lectures and handling a lot of activities is really hectic, but you know what? I WON'T GIVE UP! Of course, life is not all rosy.
One thing I've learned in dealing with a lot of activities is this: when there's passion, it won't be so stressful. (Doesn't mean one won't be stressed at all.) Just imagine doing something you love so muchβitβll be fun doing it or carrying out the task. Thatβs PASSION! And when itβs fun, one wonβt complain of being bored or drained.
I'd advise anyone: whatever you do or want to do, make sure you have the passion for it.
Another thing I've learned during the hustle and bustle of being a student is the importance of having good friends. Gawwdd! You're blessed when you surround yourself with good friendsβfriends with great minds who will push you to manifest the greatness you carry.
Trust me, everyone needs good friends in their lives. I know it's difficult finding them, but pray to God to lead you to them. Let me also add that it's not just about finding good friendsβBE A GOOD FRIEND TOO! (It isnβt difficult.)
Whereβs the best place Iβd love to be? Guess...
If you guessed "the presence of God," you're absolutely right! I love, love, love the presence of God. (Seems the love isn't enough...I love, love, love, LOVE the presence of God! Hahaha). Thereβs nothing as satisfying as His presence, trust me. Yassss, Iβll be loud about my faith! β€οΈ
This post is incomplete if I donβt gist you about my momβs birthday last year December. Unfortunately, thereβs no picture or video (I guess the video button must first be clicked before it can actually video! Hahaha). But hereβs my amazing mom. Iβm so proud of her!
Though she had a road accident some weeks before her birthday (I donβt even know how to describe how I felt when I was told), Iβm just grateful to God that she survived. Shout out to all great moms out there π₯Ίβ€οΈ
And yayyyyβ¦ itβs 2025! I know Iβm not late to wish everyone a happy new yearβ¦ hahaha. (Cβmon, itβs just the 5th day!)
One great thing God taught me in 2024 is: βπΌ'π ππππππππ‘ π€ππ‘β πππππ‘ π‘βππππ , πππππ , πππ π£ππ ππππ π€πππ‘πππ π‘π ππ ππππ‘βππ.β And youβyes, YOU! Thereβs greatness inside of you, waiting to be manifested!
2024 has been such a ride! From discovering new talents and making tough decisions (no regrets now), to performing spoken word pieces on different platforms, going for school outreaches, being ordained as an executive in my school fellowship, creating a group for people hungry for more of God, living a life sold out to Christ, overcoming my fear, and starting to post on social media to impact lives and be impacted. Letβs not forget joining this awesome community!
What more can I say? 2024, thank you for the chance to grow. Thank you to everyone who played a role. And thank you to myself tooβIβm proud of you. KEEP GOING; DONβT STOP!
2025, You're welcome! Hive Community, expect more of me this year!
