Hey guys, nice to be here again, it's been quite a while yeah and I'm excited to be here again. Yeah of course would ve doing something related to content creating, to be specific video editing.

I've learnt how to navigate my ways through any editing software or application, it's a secret my dad taught me and I will be sharing a little of the tricks I've figured out while using the Inshot app.

Been a creative and unique editor have always been a top priority for me ever since I ventured into the field, as a result of this I've learnt to always picture more technical tricks in my head, sometimes while relaxing I could just go so deep in my thoughts, and also whenever I view an amazing movie, I would always try to figure out how they did their tricks in the movie. Indeed being a unique editor requires more than the usual.

From the experiences I got from my dad, I also realized that being a pro at editing doesn't just requires hard work on your PC, it requires learning other fields in movie production. Many people love to brag about being an editor but they have no knowledge of cinematography and directing, infact I believe it's a culture for every unique editor to have knowledge on cinematography.

In the video, I did a little briefing or should I call it a tutorial on how to do a double cast of yourself, it's beyond the normal crop and chroma, I've used in in different skits and it's perfect, not to mention that I learnt it from the professional I always look up to 😂, my dad. Well I think it's a more professional way of doing a double cast.

    Three major keys

    • The first is to ensure that while taking the shot, the camera doesn't shake or change position, the camera should be on stand by so as to attain the same length.
    • While cropping the video, ensure to crop it at a point where you can easily merge it with the other video, it could be something in the background.
    • Ensure to use an artificial light source so as to avoid a glitch in the supply light from the sun.
I wasn't having a good light source when I did the shooting so the video had a little problem but I guess it's understandable.
