When You End Up in Little India, Singapore

I have long heard that Little India in Singapore is very large. It then inspired the Jakarta regional government to create Little India in the corner of Jakarta, although it is not as big as Little India in Singapore. Back then, my boss once wanted to send me there, so I thought it must be a beautiful place. But that didn't happen.

Finally last month, I had the opportunity to visit Little India, unplanned. When I looked at my map at the hostel, I saw Little India was very close. So I wanted to stop by there and see what Little India in Singapore was like.

I walked from my hostel, armed with a digital map on my phone, I walked along the orderly and clean streets of Singapore. Cars passing by, can be counted, not many so it does not cause traffic jams. In addition, the pedestrian sidewalks are really comfortable to walk on.

I arrived at Little India in 20 minutes because I had time to go around in circles. It turned out not as close as I imagined. But when you walk in a decent place, walking any distance becomes enjoyable.

I was in Little India, which turned out to be a shopping center. Anything related to Indian culture, you will find there. Since I didn't want anything from Little India, didn't want to shop, so I just walked around.

It was very sunny when I was there, but also hot. So I walked along the aisles of the shops to keep from sweating too much.
