Previously for the paintings that I painted for Convinarte I did it on small canvases that I had prepared some time ago, but as I had only done 3, I ran out of them. This time I had to do the sample paintings on paper, which was a bit uncomfortable because it tends to wrinkle.
In spite of that I made a great effort to achieve a good finish, letting the layers dry well before adding more paint.
I did 3 paintings, one colorful with silhouettes of leaves and flowers, and two of cactus 🌵. I.gistarln both cacti a lot, so I had a hard time deciding which one to move on to the canvas, until I finally got up the nerve to do the one that was divided into several sections.
I liked trying that style of painting in which I add spots of other tones regardless of whether it is not the original of the object. It is something I will be exploring in my next works. ✨
Anteriormente para los cuadros que pintaba para Convinarte lo hacía en pequeños lienzos que había preparado hace tiempo, pero como solo había hecho 3 se me terminaron. En esta ocasión me tocó hacer los cuadros de muestra sobre papel, algo que resultaba un poco incómodo porque tiende a arrugarse.
A pesar de eso hice un gran esfuerzo por lograr un buen acabado, dejando que se secaran bien las capas antes de agregar más pintura.
Hice 3 pinturas, una colorida con siluetas de hojas y flores, y dos de cactus 🌵. Me.gistarln mucho ambos cactus, así que me costó decidir cuál sería el que pasaría al lienzo, hasta que por fin me animé a hacer el que estaba dividido en varias secciones.
Me gustó probar ese estilo de pintura en el que agrego manchas de otros tonos sin importar que no sea el original del objeto. Es algo que estaré explorando en mis próximos trabajos. ✨
