The Day I Forgot My Wallet: My Most Embarrassing Moment

    Hello everyone,
Permit me to share my one of my recent moments that I got so embarrassed. So if was one day like that, going out
I once left my wallet at home as a wake up call of humility that I will never forget. It is a normal day when people try to get to work and catch the bus that took me to the bus stop to realize what I had done.

I was very busy and worried, I searched through my bag, but it was nowhere to be found.
It was all in vain, it was not there. With my bus arriving, I faced a tough decision my heart sank as I had to explain to the driver that I had no means to pay the fare. choose between missing the ride and likely to be late or to tell the driver the mistake I have made.
I gently walked to the bus driver to explain my predicament, my voice was barely audible above a whisper anyone who lives in my country now can relate to the economic hardship now, you can't just enter a bus and later explain 🤣🤣🤣 you may end up fighting. Thank God, he said okay and let me on. But shame almost finished me I was having miner issues that everyone looked at me while I walked towards the back of the bus and heard whispers and giggles around. I felt the heat in my cheeks and I wanted to recede into the wall.
Betting at the back I lower down myself to make myself as invisible as possible, do not look at anyone or anything, just focus on the floor. It was a long and humiliating ride, and I couldn't wait to reach my stop and escape to the safety of my home When I got to my station, I exited the bus as if I could fly away in some measure of relief and some measure of embarrassment.

That night I only vowed never to leave the house without checking on my items twice. Today, I am able to think of it, smile and enjoy the momentary joke. It was such a big deal then yet now I can laugh about it and tell people the story.

So they do need to remain wary but that day helped teach me not just to be mindful but to also accept my frailties, and down right foolishness and have the ability to laugh at myself. From that day on, I promised myself to always double-check my belongings before leaving the house to avoid such embarrassing situations in the future. There are those embarrassing incidents in our lives we all know that are simply part of life. As much as we love to laugh and tease at some of these silly moments,Maybe someone else on that bus had a similar experience, and our shared embarrassment helped lighten the situation. It was a lesson learned the hard way, but it taught me the importance of being mindful of my belongings and avoiding such mishaps in the future. life wouldn’t be quite as interesting if we didn’t have them.
