It's time to share with the community my participation in Week 108 - Round 3 of the Hive Music Festival. Something that I have noticed in the last weeks is that thanks to this community I have increased my activity with the bass and that undoubtedly benefits me because little by little I am returning to the level I had before, I do not say with this that before I was very good, but I know that before I played much better, even my ear was much more optimized to decipher the songs of the bands I usually listen to, so I thank the community and moderation for the warmth and attention they have had with me since I arrived here.
The song that I share today has a great particularity and it belongs to the soundtrack of the movie Matrix Reloaded, I remember that I waited with great anxiousness for this movie back in the distant year 2003 and I even remember that I went to see it at the movies by myself, at that time I did not get anyone to go with, so I decided to venture even though it is considered rare to go to the movies alone, although I must clarify that for me it is a completely normal practice. So when I got out of the movie I was impressed with the good music and when I got home I downloaded a disc with the soundtrack.
The album is called “The Matrix Reloaded: The Album” and there we can find songs from bands like Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rage Against the Machine and of course this song that I share from the band P.O.D., if you like rock I highly recommend this album.
Llegó el momento de compartir con la comunidad mi participación en la Semana 108 – Ronda 3 del Hive Music Festival. Algo que he notado en las últimas semanas es que gracias a ésta comunidad he aumentado mi actividad con el bajo y eso sin dudas me beneficia ya que poco a poco voy retomando el nivel que antes tenía, no digo con esto que antes era muy bueno, sino que sé que antes tocaba mucho mejor, incluso mi oído estaba mucho más optimizado para descifrar las canciones de las bandas que suelo escuchar, así que agradezco a la comunidad y la moderación por la calidez y atención que han tenido conmigo desde que llegué aquí.
La canción que comparto hoy tiene una gran particularidad y es que pertenece a la banda sonora de la película Matrix Reloaded, recuerdo que esperé con muchas ansias ésta película por allá en el lejano año 2003 e incluso recuerdo que fui a verla al cine yo solo, en ese momento no conseguí a nadie con quien ir, así que decidí aventurarme a pesar de que se considera raro ir al cine solo, aunque debo aclarar que para mí es una práctica completamente normal. Es así que al salir de ver la película quedé impactado con la buena música y cuando llegué a casa descargué un disco con la banda sonora.
El disco tiene por nombre “The Matrix Reloaded: The Album” y allí podemos encontrar canciones de bandas como Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rage Against the Machine y por supuesto ésta canción que comparto de la banda P.O.D., sí te gusta el rock te recomiendo ampliamente éste álbum.

As I usually do, I downloaded the song from the band's official YouTube channel and then edited it to make it shorter, in this case I removed a verse and a chorus, but believe me you will hear the best of the song. I really enjoyed playing it, it has good dynamics and I also added a custom effect to my bass line that from my point of view fit very well. Como suelo hacer, descargué la canción del canal oficial de YouTube de la banda y luego la edité para hacerla más corta, en este caso eliminé una estrofa y un coro, pero créanme que escucharán lo mejor de la canción. Me gustó mucho tocarla, tiene buena dinámica y además le agregué a mi línea de bajo un efecto personalizado que desde mi punto de vista calzó muy bien.
