Finding fulfilment in Hive Learners Community

Hello everyone and happy 100 weeks of the Hive Learner Featured edition contest. As we all know we are still in the mood for celebration and members are happily participating in this week prompt. I wanted to make use of this opportunity to say congratulations again to HL community including myself because it's a huge privilege to be part of this great community.

We learn every day because we can't know it all, I have been on other platforms and I can tell that I have never seen any platform that is as good as Hive Blockchain. Then, I developed the content myself without anyone giving me topics and I had limitations to writing. I don't rack my brain and always thought my best was enough until I got to Hive Blockchain, then I realized that I had a lot to improve on.

The first lesson I learned here on Hive Blockchain was that you can't settle for less if you want to become a reputable writer and all thanks to the HL community for that. When I first joined Hive Blockchain, HL community was the first community that taught me how to put things together. My write-ups felt like the best until I saw some great authors here on Hive Blockchain while engaging around.

The lessons that HL weekly prompt has taught me made me strong and gave me the courage to write because giving someone topics to work on makes content development easy to an extent. Although, there are times I find some topics difficult but because I am willing to learn, I wouldn't give up on them. Both the simple and the hard topics taught me never to give up and the good authors made me want to become good as well.

Engaging in other people's posts is another great thing I have learned because the former platforms I came from didn't mandate engagement. I don't know how to engage with other people since it was a bot that rewards everyone. But here on Hive you have to engage with people to grow your account, at first I found it difficult to do but as time passed, I began to find it fun, and by reading other's content I learned as well.

Speaking of my achievements on Hive Blockchain, it is not until I saved up that I could say that I have achieved something here on Hive Blockchain, my achievements started from how to compile things together and make good content out of it and putting up my best to compose good content is a great achievement to me because before I can't call myself a writer but now with all I have learned, I can say that I am trying my best which is a great achievement to me. Writing more than I could was another achievement I have made here on Hive Blockchain.

When I got here on Hive Blockchain I made so many mistakes starting from my post before I couldn't write more than 300 words and I always thought that I couldn't do more than that, so when I got here I posted the same thing, and my content was tagged as a low-quality content which got me angry and I concluded that Hive Blockchain was for me.

Another mistake I made was using the wrong tags, in the former platform I was, we didn't use tags when we posted and there was nothing like different communities with different tags. All we needed to do there was write and post but here on Hive Blockchain, we have to write in different communities with different tags I made a lot of mistakes while trying to understand how to post here on Hive Blockchain.

I have posted HL weekly prompts in another community countless times and I have also used HL tags in another community, but with the help of active moderators here in HL community, I was corrected not to do that again. Lastly, I made use of source images without putting the link which I was also corrected about it. One thing I love about HL community is that they have strong rules and regulations, they correct people who make mistakes and the unity in HL community is very strong.

I got back on track with the help of moderators because if not for them I wouldn't know if I was doing it all wrong. I have concluded in my mind that Hive Blockchain was too hard because of the number of words it requires but later I discovered that to become a good writer I have to write details and I have to accept that I made a mistake and accepting my mistake got me back on track.

Note: All the images belongs to me
