π¦ The common buzzard (Buteo buteo)
- Buteo lat .: buteo buzzard

In some countries, these predators are often called "mousers", and for good reason: after all, their main prey is indeed small rodents.
In the summer, in one area of ββthe forest near the highway, I often see these birds soaring over the field, barely moving their wide wings. Their voice is unmistakable: drawn-out and nasal, similar to the voice of an angry cat.

It is interesting that these predators are real conservatives in their habits. The same pair can occupy the same nest for years. That is why I observe these birds in the same place year after year.
