Its amazing with the questions of this week as brought to us by our dear @merit.ahama.. Questions that touched the heart, reflecting on memories of past years. And for me I have choosing to blog on question no . 2️⃣
QUESTION 2️⃣
Tell us about one thing you learned from your mother or sister or a female neighbor that she didn’t teach you directly.
This question is one that really got me thinking of how things can turn out in our lives after so many years has come and gone. I could say where I am today is through crossing paths with so many women:’. The lifestyle am living and many other things I do are all influenced by these beautiful 😍 women. And because these women are well behaved, I emulated lots of good characters from them.
First I will say my mother was my role model. She was the cleanest woman 👩🏻 I have ever seen. Who will tidy her environs many times a day and makes sure the kitchen is kept sparkling at all times. My mother does not want to step on a sand in the living room and her kitchen then, and these lifestyles I emulated from her watching her while I was growing up. I can mop and clean the house in a twinkle without time wasting. And other house chores does not cause me stress because I can say I enjoy doing it once am set to do them, All these because I learnt from my mom.
Secondly, generosity , love for othrrs❤️, being humble, self esteem and inner energy. I learned all these from my mother. I use to wander then what kind of heart ♥️ my mother has, as she will give and share even her last food 🥘 stuff to those around her, encouraging them when they come complaining, believing that its better to give than to receive. I saw how she share snd show love among extended family with humility. Today my children will keep telling me to stopping giving out , especially when its not yet enough for the house. But these characters and behaviors seems to be genetic. When you have it in you, it’s something you can’t avoid.
And from a very close friend of mine I learned to a always be positive in life. Negative thoughts 💭 and behaviors can make us stay discouraged in the goals and objectives we set out to achieve at intervals. But watching this my friend has really encouraged me a lot to always be motivated in pursuing plans and making sure they materialize.
And I have learned to be very calm from my sister. She is the kind of person who does not worry so much believing that anxiety triggers scatters hope and faith we have built over something. Its better to be calm while facings challenges because calmness will give us lots of focus to strategize the more. Although sometimes its not easy to handle anxiety 😦, but with courage and motivation we can take things slowly as they unfold.
When we are around good people, we are forced to learn good things especially those things that can benefit us in the future . And because I am that kind of person who likes to look out for something that’ is benefiting from people, I make sure to move with people I can learn from. Its also very important we look out for best quality in people, especially the things that can encourage us to stay around them, because good behavior attracts, which we emulate without anyone teaching us.
However, to learn from other women we have crossed paths with is something that cones from being humble. Because we need to see them as people that have one common interest with us . When we are together as women of common interest , we share, love and care for others and this gives us the opportunity to emulate as we admire ourselves. Every woman 👩🏻 is a role model.
