Learning: A rewarding Journey

“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.” —Zig Ziglar

I've always been so curious when it comes to learning something new. It can be very exciting too, but it looks difficult at the beginning, but after learning, we see the difficult task as an easy one. Just yesterday, I was learning how to mint and sell my dreemport cards via the dreemport marketplace with Dreemsteem. I felt, Oh, this looks complicated, but at the end, I was like, Dreemsteem, this is quite easy. I think I can even teach others, hehe. That's learning for you, but the first step is determination and having an open mind to learning. Once this is achieved, with time, we can navigate both the difficult and the easiest journey of learning.

I wasn't sure I was capable of learning crypto transactions until I tried it with the one-on-one help of a friend. I have been in the midst of crypto enthusiasts on Discord, and I watch their conversation over trading their crypto coins themselves, hive included, but then, it was one of the scariest things I didn't want to lay my hands on due to fear of losing my money. However, one day I became so determined to embrace this crypto completely by earning and trading it myself. I couldn't believe I could learn it in a day. What took me one year to fear for later took me one day to learn about. The whole thing happened like a dream, and so far, I haven't lost my money transacting in exchanges.

Recently, I didn't only sell my hive and other coins on crypto exchanges with ease, but I also learned how to buy coins, watch them add value, and sell them back, making a profit in the process while also moving funds from a crypto exchange to a crypto wallet. This learning looked strange for me at first, but I discovered that I needed to kill my fear and be determined to do it all myself, and today, it's one of those learnings that was easy for me to grasp. I remember dividing my trading into smaller amounts so I could do transactions consistently as a way to practice more and get used to it.

And then, one thing that was really difficult for me to learn was driving. Oh no!! it took me months to learn this skill, especially how to reverse a car. I think most people, especially women who learned how to drive, will tell you that reversing a car was also their biggest challenge. You know, my husband was teaching me at first, but I couldn't withstand his scoldings. He wasn't just patient with me, and he kept feeling that I was taking time to learn it. Despite the reversing challenge I had, he couldn't help me, and then I requested for him to enroll me in a driving school.

I thought that it would be faster, but I was wrong. The reversing challenge was still there, coupled with fear of hitting the high way. But one day, I decided to just take local routes that would make me reverse so often, and that was it. I kept practicing this for hours, and it even became my daily dose until I finally learned it.

Comparing the two instances of this learning journey of mine, I can say that it was only when determination and consistency came into play that I saw the desirable outcome I craved.
