Hello dear readers! Did you miss me?While most of you might think that I have abandoned this blog, sadly, you are sorely mistaken.

I had been channeling my inner Lady Whistledown since I am still busy with my work, reading and watching the Bridgertons.

In this post, I decided to use some of my gold leaf to see if I can come up with some unique look.

I started with 2 ordinary clay.

    Roll it.

    Make the flower details.

And here are my gold leaf. They are originally intended for nail art. But who cares? I just wanna use it for my craft.

I made my initial sculpture. I chose the ordinary clay. No tints/ glitters/ transluscent effect. Since this is a test run,
I want to observe exactly how the gold leaf behaves with an ordinary clay.

Apply. I did not use any glue. The stickiness on the clay made it easy for me to do that. I did use some tools to lift the gold leaf from its container as it sticks to my skin.

A bit more on the details. These are all organic. I know that the face details are lopsided, looks really crazy, etc. But I wanted to create something that looks authentic so yeah, I did just that.

Finished look- with all my fingerprints all over.

Post baking looks before "glazing it with nail polish."
