Five days of Sheep and Goat Fair in Barquisimeto
Cinco días de Feria ovina y caprina en Barquisimeto
From Wednesday, May 29 to last Sunday, June 2, the city of Barquisimeto became the meeting point for large and small entrepreneurs in the goat and sheep area.
The Bicentennial Fair Complex, located in the east of the city, received the top exponents of this industry. It was five days of the sixth edition of the Sheep and Goat Fair, which is the first window to the world of the potential of the state of Lara as regards this industry.
Desde el miércoles 29 de mayo hasta el pasado domingo 2 de junio, la ciudad de Barquisimeto se convirtió en el punto de encuentro de grandes y pequeños empresarios del área caprina y ovina.
El Complejo Ferial Bicentenario, ubicado en el este de la ciudad, recibió a los máximos exponentes de este rubro. Fueron cinco días de la sexta edición de la Feria Ovina y Caprina, que es la primera ventana al mundo del potencial del estado Lara en cuanto a esta industria se refiere.

The event was not only attended by producers from the State of Lara. The fair is national, so producers from all over Venezuela were present. A sample of the animals of each of the participating companies. A large business round table, as well as prizes for the various contests that were held in the facilities of the emblematic fair complex of the city.
Although it was five days, I was quite busy with personal matters and other events I had to attend, so it was difficult to make time. It was only on Saturday that I was able to go to the fairgrounds and I couldn't stay long. I got sleepy very early in the morning and didn't want to stay late at night.
I arrived and tried to go through the whole complex as quickly as possible, but I was not able to see all the stands and exhibits, nor to go through one area. But what I was able to photograph and review can give an idea of what the whole event was like.
En el evento no sólo participaron productores del Estado Lara. La feria es nacional, por lo que estuvieron presentes productores de toda Venezuela. Una muestra de los animales de cada una de las empresas participantes. Amplia rueda de negocios, así como premios para los diversos concursos que se realizaron en las instalaciones del emblemático complejo ferial de la ciudad.
Aunque fueron cinco días, estuve bastante ocupado con asuntos personales y otros actos a los que tenía que asistir, por lo que me resultó difícil sacar tiempo. Fue el sábado cuando pude ir al recinto ferial y no pude quedarme mucho tiempo. Me entra sueño muy temprano y no quería quedarme hasta tarde por la noche.
Llegué e intenté recorrer todo el complejo lo más rápido posible, pero no pude ver todos los stands y exposiciones, ni recorrer una zona. Pero lo que pude fotografiar y reseñar puede dar una idea de cómo fue todo el evento.

As in similar events, there were a large number of stands of goat producers. Also awnings of big brands and companies recognized not only in this sector. Coffee brands, livestock machinery, cargo vehicles. There were many stands.
I could not stop to talk and ask questions, but I took many photos and had to make a selection for the post.
Como en eventos similares, había un gran número de stands de productores caprinos. También toldos de grandes marcas y empresas reconocidas no sólo en este sector. Marcas de café, maquinaria ganadera, vehículos de carga. Había muchos stands.
No pude pararme a hablar y preguntar, pero hice muchas fotos y tuve que hacer una selección para el post.

The dining room was quite spacious. So everyone could enjoy various meals and different prices. I was able to see some of the prices and they were quite affordable for most people. One of the food stands had hamburgers for $1.00. I didn't take many pictures of that area as the sun was too strong. By now that I was able to attend, the sun was scorching. I'm sure at sunset the place gets crowded with more people, because the entrance was totally free.
El comedor era bastante amplio. Para que todo el mundo pudiera disfrutar de varias comidas y diferentes precios. Pude ver algunos de los precios y eran bastante asequibles para la mayoría de la gente. En uno de los puestos de comida había hamburguesas a 1$. No hice muchas fotos de esa zona, ya que el sol era demasiado fuerte. A l ahora que pude asistir, el sol era abrasador. Seguro que al atardecer el lugar se llena de más gente, porque la entrada era totalmente gratuita.

The warehouses of the complex were dedicated to the fair. Numerous entrepreneurs participated in this sixth goat sheep fair to showcase their products and services.
Jewelry, clothing, cleaning products, make-up, personal care products, universities, handicrafts, sweets, etc. There was everything, so that people could enjoy a great fair, being able to buy any product they needed. Tasting a delicious ducel or drink, etc.
Of course there was also liquor for sale. The famous Polar beer, the Sangria, etc. Because every night there was live talent. At night is when everything got better, but I am very boring and at that time I prefer to watch a movie at home. I enjoy the events during the day.
Los almacenes del complejo se dedicaron a la feria. Numerosos empresarios participaron en esta sexta feria del ganado ovino caprino para mostrar sus productos y servicios.
Joyería, ropa, productos de limpieza, maquillaje, productos de cuidado personal, universidades, artesanía, dulces, etc. Había de todo, para que la gente pudiera disfrutar de una gran feria, pudiendo comprar cualquier producto que necesitara. Degustando un delicioso duce o bebida, etc
Por supuesto también hubo venta de licores. La famosa cerveza Polar, la Sangría, etc. Porque todas las noches había talento en vivo. En la noche es cuando todo se ponía mejor, pero yo soy muy aburrido y a esa hora prefiero ver una película en casa. Disfruto de los eventos durante el día.

There were very nice handicrafts and souvenirs, what was lacking was money to buy. I had to settle for looking and taking pictures.
In one of the stands in the commercial area there was one in which there was an international representative, specifically from Malaysia.
Some of the entrepreneurs and their products I already knew from other events I have attended in the past. I met the beautiful Queen of the II Agrotourism Fair GD Jacinto Lara 2024, which was also several days ago, but I could not attend because the place was far away from my area. She is a very pretty young lady and I took some pictures of her for the post.
Había artesanía y recuerdos muy bonitos, lo que faltaba era dinero para comprar. Me tuve que conformar con mirar y hacer fotos.
En uno de los stands de la zona comercial había uno en el que había un representante internacional, concretamente de Malasia.
A algunos de los empresarios y sus productos ya los conocía de otros eventos a los que he asistido en el pasado. Me encontré con la hermosa Reina de la II Feria Agroturística GD Jacinto Lara 2024, que también fue hace varios días, pero no pude asistir porque el lugar quedaba muy lejos de mi zona. Es una joven muy bonita y le tomé algunas fotos para el post.
