It was my turn this Sunday to walk the Bolivar square in the city of Cumaná, it is a square where we can walk for a while and have a good time. I believe that to be a physiotherapist and to be that professional who prescribes exercises, is to set the example in doing aerobic exercises.
I decided to start my walking routine because it helps with cardiovascular problems and prevents strokes, diabetes and obesity. Sedentary lifestyle is that silent enemy that we have, so we must fight to promote movement and exercise on our own.
I love actifit, I decided to start testing it and I think it is an application that works a lot to see how much physical activity we do. The wonderful thing is that it logs physical activity. Point for that.
The Bolivar square in Cumaná is a place where they skate a lot. It is also the place where I walk a lot to go to the university. Soon I will show you once I go there and use actifit more often.
