What a beauty God created in every woman 👩🏻 with our hairs in various colors, volumes and shapes. This pride and crown we will ever be grateful for. Thank you so much for this interesting topic for this week @ifarmgirl on our hairs and how we love to wear them or cut them for fun 🤩.

The only time I wore short hairs was as a teenager, then in secondary school. I love my hair long and have been wearing it long for many years now. I started investing on my hair while in college and then noticed that I have this texture of hair called coarse texture which is a kind of strong thick textured hair I think I inherited from my mom. But to enjoy this very texture of hair, you need to source for a suitable relaxer that will always bring out the beauty in it because its always full and loving.

And after college, I stated buying kit for my hair to relax the hair every other 4 months because then I have started my 8:00 to 5:00 , and have also noticed that ordinary relaxers are not good for my hair since it made it to start changing color from black to kind of light brown which I did not like then. Although the kit I started using called “Dark & Lovely” was three times more expensive, but because I could afford it I never did mind.

And why I love long hair from then was because I was aiming to go in to study a 6 months course in Air Hostess after my Business Administration in college because I wanted to build a career in it but that was never achieved because my mother being phobia of flying could not consent to this career after much struggle.

For me many women finds out that their hair adds natural beauty to how they look especially with different styling or braiding which formerly is an African thing but most women braid their hair now all over the world 🌎. The hair adds so much to our physical appearance and look, our dressing styles, even the kind of job we do sometimes require some kind of hair styling which helps brings out our personality.

Our hair is our pride, our crown. Wether we wear it short or long , its a desire from the heart ♥️. Some women who choose to cut their hair do it not because that don’t have the money, but may be to enjoy a stress free hair problems from washing or relaxing their hair. Others who also cut their hairs may be due to time factors or the kind of job or business that do not give them more free time.

I have a sister in-law who is into force. She practically cuts her hair all year. Because she feels her uniform looks good on her with her hair shot, so she maintains it short snd feels good about it. But I know too many others who wears their hair short because of how they can’t maintain long hair or can’t go to salons every other week to wash and style their hair.

However , wether we wear our hairs long or short , what matters most is being happy with our hair styles, being happy with ourselves and what makes us the women and ladies we are. My long hair gives me so much joy because it brings out the beauty in me the more. I make sure to keep maintaining it, giving it different styling and now that the kit is even more expensive, I resulted to just relaxing the hair twice in a year, carry it awhile then corn rose every other month after washing to keep it in order. I do not like braids, but maybe once in six months because it breaks my hair which I can’t stand.

I will carry on with my long hair hoping to keep maintaining it into old age, maybe from the age of sixty when I can consider cutting my hair into Anita Baker hair style which my daughter has recommended as we count the years 😀. But for now ladies I will keep cherishing this crown that is a crown and Grace.
