ENGLISH VERSION
At home, we have an elegant, playful, and very useful animal: the cat. Many of us are amazed when we see its larger siblings, the cats, whose power, beauty, and elegance make us see God's beautiful creation. This is the family of felines, like lions, tigers, cheetahs, and others, which we can see in movies and documentaries in the famous African savannahs.
Sometimes we South Americans only see things from abroad and don't see the beauties we have right here on our continent, like the Machopichu, Angel Falls, and right here we have big cats like the puma, the Cunaguaro, and this one we see caged in the Caricuao Zoo, the jaguar.
This big cat is an excellent stealth predator, whose spots allow it to camouflage itself with the jungle floor where it lives. The forest floor is a mosaic of shadows and light that blends with the jaguar's pattern.
So, this big cat, which we see even as an adult, likes to play, just like the cat many of us have at home. It shows its great beauty and God's magnificent creation.

VERSION EN ESPAÑOL
En casa tenemos un animal elegante y juguetón a la vez muy útil como es el gato. Además muchos de nosotros nos quedamos asombrados al ver sus hermanos grandes de los gatos que con su poder, belleza y elegancia, vemos la hermosa creación de dios. Como es La familia de los felinos como leones, tigres, chitas etc., que podemos ver en películas y documentales en las sabanas de áfrica tan famosas.
A veces nosotros los sudamericanos que solo vemos las cosas del extranjero y no vemos las bellezas que tenemos aquí mismo en nuestro continente como el machopichu, el salto ángel, y aquí mismo tenemos grandes felinos como el puma, el cunaguaro y este que vemos enjaulado en el zoológico Caricuao, el jaguar.
Este gran felino es un excelente depredador furtivo, cuyas manchas le permite camuflarse con el suelo de la selva donde vive en donde en el suelo del bosque tenemos un mosaico de sombras y luz que se mescla con el patrón del jaguar.
Asi este gran gato que vemos aun siendo adulto le gusta jugar tal como el gato que muchos tenemos en el hogar, muestra su gran belleza y la grandiosa creación de dios.
