An announcement of the next series of films (adapted into a TV series - something like a new adaptation of Legend of the Galactic Heroes) has been released online. I've probably seen all the episodes so far, at least the ones ending with the victorious war with Gatlantis. This is one of the best anime I have ever seen in my life. A perfect classic in a new, stunning form (watching the battles against the Gatlantis empire on a small screen is a big sin. I was hugely impressed watching them on a 60-inch TV), beautiful and captivating music. And if you love RTS games like me, this is a title from the Must Watch series. Did you know that if it weren't for this anime, StarCraft might not have been created? And there would certainly be no Battlecruisers, which coincidentally resemble human combat ships and their special weapon is the Yamato cannon.

Do sieci trafiła zapowiedź kolejnej serii filmów (przerobionych na serię TV - coś jak nowa adaptacja Legend of the Galactic Heroes). Widziałem chyba wszystkie dotychczasowe odcinki, a przynajmniej te kończące się na zwycięskiej wojnie z Gatlantis. Jest to jedno z najlepszych anime, jakie w życiu widziałem. Doskonały klasyk w nowej, oszałamiającej formie (oglądanie bitew przeciwko imperium Gatlantis na małym ekranie, to duży grzech. Byłem pod gigantycznym wrażeniem oglądając je na 60 calowym telewizorze.), piękna i zniewalająca muzyka. A jeśli dodatkowo uwielbiacie RTS-y jak ja, to jest to tytuł z serii Must Watch. Wiecie, że gdyby nie to anime, to StarCraft być może by nie powstał? A na pewno by nie było Battlecruiserów, które przypadkiem przypominają statki bojowe ludzi oraz ich specjalną bronią jest działo Yamato.

Mam złą wiadomość dla miłośników tego anime. Tytuł doceniony przez wielu i lubiany przez część widzów, niestety nie dostanie swojego zakończenia. Powodu nie znam, ale nie muszę, bo ten jest oczywisty. Czy raczej one. Niska popularność tytułu, niski potencjał zarobkowy + studio MAPPA ma kilka innych marek, w które lepiej zainwestować czas i pieniądze. Można się obrażać na kapitalizm, ale to niestety tak działa. Nie ma popularności, nie ma pieniążków.
