What a surprising day in our school when the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a fraternal socio-civic organization with its team visited our school to surprise everybody with the cheese giveaways for all of the students.

When they arrived, the Grade 10 students were gathered at the covered court for the Speech Choir Competition. The students had no idea about it until they saw many boxes of cheese on the covered court.

They were wearing the colors of nature and I love seeing them in hues of green. The speech choir was all about nature preservation and conservation. I was not only thrilled to watch them perform but also at the moment of the giveaway. They were my students last school year, and they are now in Grade 10.

How time flies so fast and it is almost the end of the school year as well. I loved these students since they were so good. They asked me to capture them since even before, they loved to take selfies and groupies when we were together. I love seeing their cute and happy faces. Even though I am not their teacher, I can always feel their love and care.

Meanwhile, I went up to the stage and welcomed the Fraternal Eagles Team. Before the distribution of the Cheese to all of the students, they explained the reason and purpose why they were in the school. The boxes of cheese for the students were sponsored by Rise and Hunger Philippines through JAcosta Corporation.

Excited as I was, I was captured by my former student holding the big cheese. Just so you know, cheese is my favorite. And so I was here helping in the distribution to all students.

Many hands asking for the cheese were captured as I took a selfie on the stage while holding the cheese. I love how the distribution of the cheese was done since it was given by the Curriculum, and since I am the head of the Grade 9 Curriculum, I handled the distribution and asked for the help of my colleagues so every student in Grade 9 would bring home each big box of cheese.

All the Grade 10 students at the covered court were given cheese. And after, we had a photo opportunity on the stage together with my colleagues, the team, and the students. It was a happy day for all and as a cheese lover, having the big boxes of Eden cheese makes my heart delightful.

After all the boxes of cheese were distributed to each curriculum, I returned to my classroom so I could give each of my students an Eden cheese. My students had no idea that they would be given because I only told them that we would have visitors so they were truly surprised when I entered the classroom bringing big boxes of cheese.

My students had big smiles as they received a big box of Eden cheese. They were also cheese lovers like me. I captured them while they were holding the cheese inside my classroom. My colleagues returned as well to their respective classrooms to distribute the giveaway. What a great feeling to receive things for free at a least expected moment. Perhaps it was a happy cheese day!
