As the clock struck noon, I hopped into my car and set off towards my culinary destination. The anticipation of tasting that perfectly cooked salmon made my mouth water. However, upon arriving, I was surprised to see the parking lot completely empty. It was midday, yet not a single car was parked outside.

On one hand, I was thrilled to have my pick of parking spots, but on the other, a wave of sympathy washed over me for the restaurant owner. Here was a place that served delicious and affordable food in a wonderful atmosphere, yet it stood eerily devoid of customers.
