Hace un tiempo les conté que tenía algunos proyectos pendientes más que todo de cosas que quería hacer para regalar, de esas cosas está una pijama para una amiga que todavía está en proceso y este suéter que es para un amigo, la idea era dárselo en su cumpleaños que fué a finales de diciembre pero no se pudo por que yo estaba muy ocupada 🤭 ahora bien, pude haber tenido este proyecto hecho mucho más antes pero me pasó un inconveniente que la máquina no quería coser está tela, ya yo tenía todo cortado e intenté de todo para coser pero simplemente no cosía, hasta que me cansé y probé con otra tela y ¿Adivinen? La cosió perfectamente así que pensé que podía ser el hilo por qué hasta el hilo cambié, en fin me puse hacer otras cosas y dejé el suéter de lado hasta que decidí coserlo con hilo azul marino 🤣 no tenía de otra pues con el hilo negro la máquina de negaba a coser, menos mal y no era un encargo de un cliente 🙈 así fué como lo pude terminar, acompañame a ver el proceso.

Some time ago I told you that I had some projects pending, mostly about things I wanted to make to give as a gift, one of those things is a pajama for a friend that is still in process and this sweater that is for a friend, the idea was to give it to him on his birthday which was at the end of December but it was not possible because I was very busy 🤭 now well, I could have had this project done much earlier but the machine didn't want to sew this fabric, I already had everything cut and I tried everything to sew but it just wouldn't sew, until I got tired and tried with another fabric and guess what? It sewed it perfectly so I thought it could be the thread because I even changed the thread, anyway I started to do other things and left the sweater aside until I decided to sew it with navy blue thread 🤣 I had no other choice because with the black thread the machine refused to sew, thank goodness and it was not a customer order 🙈 that's how I could finish it, come with me to see the process.

Comencé por cortar las dos piezas principales del suéter, me ayudé con un suéter ya hecho para sacar las piezas delantera y trasera, y las mangas, para este suéter no quise hacer muchos parches pero sí tuve que unir una tira en la pieza trasera del suéter para lograr el largo que necesitaba.
I started by cutting out the two main pieces of the sweater, I helped myself with an already made sweater to take out the front and back pieces, and the sleeves, for this sweater I didn't want to do a lot of patches but I did have to join a strip on the back piece of the sweater to get the length I needed.
Después de tener todas las piezas cortadas vamos a coser, comenzamos uniendo los hombros y en mi caso uni la tira de la pieza trasera que me faltaba, ahora unimos las mangas a las sisas siempre cosiendo en recta y terminando con zigzag, seguimos cosiendo los costados del suéter y ya estaría armando y casi listo.
After having all the pieces cut we are going to sew, we start joining the shoulders and in my case I joined the strip of the back piece that was missing, now we join the sleeves to the armholes always sewing straight and finishing with zigzag, we continue sewing the sides of the sweater and we would be assembling and almost ready.
Después de tener los costados del suéter cosido vamos con los puños y cuello, usé tela micro rib para esto y las corté de las medias que ves en la foto, la más delgada es para el cuello, la de 12 cm de ancho la usé para los puños de las mangas y la más ancha para el contorno del suéter, las tiras tiene que ser unos centímetros menos que ancho del suéter para que quedé fruncido y se ajuste al cuerpo. ¿qué tal les pareció este nuevo trabajo?
